Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges

A traffic stop led to multiple drug charges.  Wilkesboro Police followed a car with an expired tag that was traveling at an extremely slow speed and initiated a traffic stop.  A Police K9 alerted that there were drugs in the car.  A search found drugs, scales, and drug paraphernalia.  The driver, Mark Brooks of Millers Creek, was charged with felony intent to sell and deliver, maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance, and possession.
